Florida
We saw alligators and sand dollars and starfish. The alligators were in a park so we were "safe"! :) We saw Grandpa Phares Rutt and Katie, and there big boat. It was a great experience! Dad said "This is a once in a lifetime thing, coming to Florida with our whole family." Well, I think he might change his mind!
Trevor, Dylan, and cousin Jacob loved catching lizards! Trevor let one bite his ear and he called it an "earring". We ate "orange pie" that Grandma Katie made. It was delicious! We found a "sea slug" or "sea cucumber" or whateveryoucallit. It was greenish-brown and had no shape when you pick it up but when you put it down it turns into this slug thing. It was like carved jello. :) haha. We saw dolphins feeding! That was cool. (It made us feel safe 'cause then we knew there'd be no sharks, likely.) We went to Alabama!! You can practically live off the land there!! We got to pick and eat oranges right off the tree! What a great experience. We got to meet wonderful family! And I got 2 hats with my name on it. 1, a cap. 2, a winter hat. When we came home I got to try out the winter hat!!! Lots of snow at home. I like that, though.
We got to watch sunsets on the beach and collect shells and all sorts of things.
...now I wonder if that will be a 'once in a lifetime' trip for us...
