Things I'm learning about Africa

You'll never guess what I'm studying in geography!! :) Africa is really interesting!! And a lady came to Red Lake to help with Bible Club here and she is from Africa. She is nice and friendly.
She came over to tell us about her country and she had some hilarious stories. She had to be careful of stepping on land mines from the war!! Imagine that!
Well, we read a book called 'A long walk to water' its based on a true story about a boy named Salva. You can watch the video 'Salva's Story' if you're interested.
He started a program called 'Water For Sudan'. Its pretty cool. I think maybe someday I'll go to Africa.
Yeah so I just wanted to share with you what one of my interests are!

My New Blog

I know. The title sounds scary. At least to me, it does. I've had this blog since November 5, 2016. THREE YEARS.  But after hours of trying to understand this website, I decided to try a different one.  wordpress.com  is a popular website to many of my fellow friends on Story Embers (a writing website). I don't mean to complain, but....

IT IS FR-EE-ZING. Photo taken from Derek Yutzy's timeline on Facebook We have about a fifty-five percent chance that our car will start. And even if it does, you may not even make it up the hill to your house. Ohh, the joys of living in the boreal forest. Up North. With all season tires . Not the greatest idea. Luckily we bought a new car and all, and it works better than our old one, but it still doesn't have winter tires.  But we are surviving this cold!  Although I am disappointed I haven't been able to play hockey since Christmas.  Ok, I do have a point to this post. I promise I won't just rant about the cold.  Tomorrow I'm turning fifteen.  Hurrah... not so much.  I mean, I like being fourteen. It's a comfort zone thing. Three Awesome Books

Anyone feel up for a book review? I haven't written one before, but I figured I'd give it a shot. I was sitting at my desk trying to decide what I should post about when I remembered how some people do book reviews. But of course, I couldn't decide which book. I mean, there are millions   of books out there that I've read, and I had to pick one?!   I did eventually decide on one but then I changed my mind. Then I picked another.  Then I changed my mind. (indecisive, aren't we?) So then I decided to pick three books and give a short review on each, then pick my   favourite . Like a book contest...
